Who we are
WHYL is built by Sitti App, Inc., founded by childhood friends Olalla Levi and Chloe Tamman. We started WHYL because the most honest seconds in software are the ones where nothing is happening — the model is thinking, and the person is just sitting there. We thought those seconds should belong to the person, not the spinner.
What we believe
- Monetize the wait, never extend it. If a platform can eliminate a wait, it should. WHYL monetizes wait time only while it naturally exists — while a model is thinking, searching, coding, generating, or executing.
- The person waiting gets paid. Attention during a wait is real, and the person spending it deserves a cut in verified US dollars.
- Ads fit the wait, never the other way around. A creative can never run longer than the wait it fills, and the answer always wins the screen the instant it's ready.
- Privacy is the product's foundation. Prompt text stays in the browser by default. What WHYL can and can't see, in plain English.
